Willow Sat Narayan

I’m Willow Sat Narayan. I serve in the community as a death companion/doula, licensed psilocybin facilitator, grief tender, body-oriented integration coach, healing arts practitioner and death education counselor. Much of my work lives close to the places where life asks something of us. You may be grieving someone or something you love, facing your own mortality, caring for someone who is dying, finding your way after sudden loss or a life-altering experience, moving through recovery, depression or anxiety, relational rupture, an identity shift, or another turning that has changed the ground beneath you. You may also arrive without a particular loss, crisis, or major life change bringing you here. Something may simply be stirring. You may be curious, feeling drawn to listen more deeply, longing for greater intimacy with yourself and your life, or seeking a place where you can arrive without needing to have it all figured out. And sometimes what needs tending is what has been carried alone—the grief of losses that may not have a name, the loneliness and disconnection, or parts of our experience that have gone without enough witness or language. I believe there is something deeply human in being met there. My work has grown through many years of tending bodies, grief and death care, parenting, healing arts, ceremony, group facilitation, community grief rituals, songweaving, and living inside the complexity of relationship, family, community, and the larger systems that touch our lives. Attunement and embodied listening are woven through how I companion, as is a deep respect for the timing and unfolding of each person’s own process. I am drawn to the liminal places, when something has changed or fallen away and what comes next is not yet clear. There can be room here for grief and joy, anger and tenderness, uncertainty and curiosity, silence, expression, mystery, and the ordinary messiness of being human. Our work might include grief tending, death and end-of-life companioning, body-oriented integration, healing arts, or licensed psilocybin facilitation. None is a pathway toward another. Each has its own place. For those who feel called toward relationship with psilocybin, I approach that relationship with care, reverence, and curiosity, without assuming what the experience should be or where it should lead. Psilocybin does not need to be part of our work together for you to belong here. Whether you arrive held by others or have been carrying much of your experience on your own, there is a place for you here. We may begin with where you are.

Welcome. I’m glad you found your way here. You may arrive knowing what kind of support you’re looking for, or you may simply know that something is asking for your attention. Both are welcome. This is a place to explore grief tending, death companioning, licensed psilocybin facilitation, body-oriented integration, healing arts and death education. Each offering has its own place, and there is no expectation that you already know which one is right for you. Come as you are, with what is present.
